Switching it up
So after a lot of thought and consideration on where this game of poker is going to take me I have finally made a decision. Over the last few months I have been watching the trends in the poker world and have noticed quite a change. I really feel there is going to be a new "poker boom" and it will be focused mainly on cash games. More specifically, pot limit omaha. You can see it in the media and even more so in the high stakes games. It pretty much holds true that trends begin at the high stakes levels and then flow down. I feel that giving up some short term value now to learn PLO will pay off big later by putting myself in position to make a lot of money when PLO gets a big push. I have been playing it a little bit trying to just get my feet wet in the game, and I've been doing pretty well so far. The players in the $100 games are just pathetic. I have no idea what I'm doing and I can still destroy these guys. I've always had great card instincts and I feel that omaha is a great fit for my playing style and ability. Couple this with the fact that I'm getting bored with mtts and I feel its time for a move. Unfortunately, this means that I will be leaving pxf so I can move to cardrunners. If I really want to develop my cash game I feel the need to move to a site with the top players in the game. This is the same reason I came to pxf for mtts. It sucks to have to leave pxf because I love the site and the people on it are great, but I need to do what is going to be the most profitable for me in the long run. So after this month I am going to cancel my subscription to pxf. I hope that any members who read this will continue to follow my progress in the poker world, and give me any sort of encouragement or support to help me on my way. Well, I'm off to the Omaha tables for some juicey weekend action.

PLO has always been a hotbed of donks and I wish you the best of luck in crushing them and building your roll. Best of luck sir.
